Conveniently located, close to local attractions and amenities, helpful staff. Stayed over Christmas and the hotel was in a great location for exploring the local area. The room was spacious and clean with nice extras like free wifi and complimentary toiletries. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help us with any queries we had.

No microwave or kettle in the room, limited car parking. The biggest downside was the lack of a microwave or kettle in the room, which made it difficult to prepare food and drinks.

I had 1 breakfast, 2 dinners and 1 room service. All were 10 out of 10. The girls can make a mean margarita. The room was clean and comfy. Great bed and pillows. The location was perfect (close to supermarket, train and restaurants).

The airconditioner was really noisy so we didn't use it. And so were the other guests around us.

Perfect for vacation. The beds were comfortable in our room. Honestly nothing too much trouble. We enjoyed the location.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the train line, providing easy access to everything we were interested in. We also appreciated being close to shops and restaurants, making it easy to grab cold bottled water. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room was clean with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet had a decent selection.

The noise level was an issue on higher floors, as mentioned in some reviews.

Convenience to Ipswich city

Always know what to expect each time I come back to stay there. Always clean, good service, comfy rooms, nice staff.

There was a wedding reception at the hotel and I was not forewarned about the noise levels of the band, especially considering I was on the first floor. It was quite loud and didn't end until midnight. Also, some of the wedding guests got quite rowdy and not much was done about it even though they were going in and out of the front entrance of the hotel. Wouldn't normally complain about the above but I was very tired and needed sleep.

Bar staff excellent, clean rooms, great facilities for functions and weddings, comfy beds, nice bathroom with long bath.

The Metro Hotel Ipswich International is in a great location, in walking distance to clubs, shops, cinema's etc. The room was very nice and the staff were friendly.

The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of the train station and major shopping centre. We found the staff helpful and friendly. The room was serviced well and was adequate for our stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious, our room service breakfast was always delivered on time. Well done.

Great value for the price! The staff were friendly and accommodating during my business trip. The breakfast buffet had a good selection of items. The hotel was conveniently located near the town and conference center, making it easy to get around.

The beds in the shared rooms were not ideal for groups of three adults. there were some cleanliness issues- dirty cups and used earplugs left in bathrooms.

It was very close to the Ipswich Club & it is about time Ipswich had a good accomadation hotel. Bathrooms too small is the only let down.
